As part of the Northern Marmara Motorway Project, an ecological bridge was built in Uskumruköy by the General Directorate of Highways under the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure so that wild animals can continue their lives without being affected by the motorway.
In the project, emphasis was placed on crossing these areas with tunnels and viaducts to prevent damage to green areas.
The first ecological bridge in our country is the 'Uskumruköy Ecological Bridge', built with the Northern Marmara Motorway Project. The bridge guides many wild animals in the area, such as roe deer, wild boar, jackals and foxes, and allows them to cross the motorway easily. The bridge, which will prevent damage to green areas and reduce traffic accidents, is 44 metres long.
