By a Presidential Decision published in the Official Gazette and put into force, crossings on the motorways under the responsibility of the General Directorate of Highways (KGM) and over the 15 July Martyrs Bridge and the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge during the holiday will be free of charge

starting from Saturday 15 June 2024 at 00:00 (the night from Friday to Saturday)
until Monday 24 June 2024 at 07:00.

However, build-operate-transfer projects are not included in this free passage.

Is Urban Public Transport Paid During Eid al-Adha?

Urban public transport services will also be free during the holiday. Citizens

from Sunday 16 June 2024 at 00:00 (the night from Saturday to Sunday)
until the end of Wednesday 19 June 2024

will be able to use Başkentray, Marmaray, İZBAN, the Sirkeci-Kazlıçeşme Rail System Line, the Gayrettepe-Istanbul Airport-Arnavutköy metro line and the public transport services provided by municipalities and the unions, institutions and enterprises they have established free of charge.
