Karamandere Saklıgöl (Hidden Lake)

A hidden lake, just as its name says. On the way from Şile to Ağva, the road turns off to the right. You can find it by following the signs. It is already a well-known place. Anyone you ask on the way can show you. You go along a footpath through the trees. There are villages along the way. And along the road, villagers sell the products they grow themselves. After a long journey, you reach that magnificent view. There is a quite large area for parking.

There is a business by the lake. Everything you want is here. If you wish, you can have breakfast in the morning. Or you can just get a samovar to drink tea. Or you can buy all the ingredients there and have a barbecue. They have thought of everything you need. If you have brought everything with you and just want a place, they rent you a table. They have divided it into two sections: on the lake and under the trees. But if you buy your food and drinks from this restaurant, you don't pay a table fee. The table fee is only charged when you bring food from outside. For those who want to have breakfast here, there is a breakfast plate. There are also fish, grills, salads and soups.

Ducks swim at the edge of the lake. It is also a suitable place for nature walks. On the other side of the lake there is no business and no tables, but it is possible to have a picnic here. Most families prefer the other side of the lake.
