IBB 15 July Martyrs Forest and Monument

The forest, created with trees planted in memory of the citizens martyred in the coup attempt of 15 July 2016, and the monument containing pictures and texts describing the night of the coup, form a park set on the hill overlooking the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge. Operated by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, this park has a clean and safe environment. Being open until 23:00 in the evening gives visitors the opportunity to spend time at different times of the day.

The park's view is very impressive and, combined with the natural beauty around it, offers visitors a peaceful atmosphere. However, it can be very windy on windy days, which may be uncomfortable for some visitors. Also, the park has no car park, so visitors have to park their vehicles at the roadside.

Since there are no facilities inside, amenities such as toilets are not available either. However, the park's large size and beautiful views offer a peaceful environment away from the noise of the city. As the Bosphorus view is also magnificent, visiting this park is definitely recommended and it is one of the places to see.
