What are the Digital Experience Areas?

Digital Room
The Digital Room is located at the entrance of the IBB Culture Inc. Digital Experience Museum and is the first stop that prepares visitors to step into the magical world of the museum. Thanks to the interactive technologies inside, visitors have an entertaining experience while learning about Nikola Tesla's life and inventions. The room includes interactive panels and wall installations where prominent examples of Tesla's inventions are exhibited. Visitors have detailed information about Tesla's life and also have the opportunity to examine his inventions closely.

Virtual Reality Room

One of the most exciting points of the IBB Culture Inc. Digital Experience Museum, the Virtual Reality Room, brings 40 people together in the same virtual environment in an area of ​​92 square meters. Visitors can interact with each other's avatars and have a common experience. This room offers an unforgettable experience with the social dimension brought by virtual reality technology.

Immersive Experience Museum
The Immersive Experience Room is equipped with 30 4K resolution projectors. This room, one of the largest immersive experience rooms in Europe, offers visitors a unique visual feast with 360-degree wall and floor projection mapping technology. Spread over an area of ​​400 square meters and offering a spacious atmosphere with a capacity of 400 people, this room becomes an ideal space for different exhibitions and events with its wide entrance and flexible arrangement options. The Immersive Experience Room represents the vision of making the museum a dynamic experience and interaction center in the strongest way.

Digital Corridor
The tunnel used as the area where visitors exiting the Immersive Experience Room pass was designed to calm the senses stimulated by the previous experience and accompany the heightened emotions of the visitors. There is an interactive floor used in the transition of visitors exiting the tunnel to the underwater experience they will experience in the Augmented Reality Room, which causes the water to move and ripple when stepped on. There is also an active wall screen on the Digital Corridor where little visitors can draw the Istanbul of their dreams using digital technologies and paint it with the colors they want. This interactive activity allows children to develop their creativity while also learning about the cultural heritage and symbols of Istanbul.

Augmented Reality Room
The Augmented Reality Room offers one of the most striking experiences of the museum. In this 70 square meter area, visitors can travel to different times and places thanks to high-resolution LED screens. The walls, ceiling and floor equipped with LED screens make visitors feel like they are in an illusion with the images surrounding them. These impressive visual arrangements give visitors an experience that they can not only watch but also feel with their senses. • Tickets are valid between 09.00-18.00, you can start visiting at any time you want.
• Museum Card is not valid.
• Credit card and cash TL are valid. Foreign currency is not accepted.
• Tickets are valid only once on the day they are purchased. Refunds are not accepted.
• Entry is free for those over 65 and under 7.
• Entry is free for veterans and first degree relatives of veterans/martyrs.
• Entry is free for visitors with a disabled ID. Entry is also free for those with a disabled companion card.
• Teachers who are citizens of the Republic of Turkey,

Recommendations and Warnings for Experience Areas

• Dizziness or loss of balance may be experienced in the Virtual Reality, Immersive Experience and Augmented Reality rooms. In such cases, the safety instructions of the museum staff should be followed.
• Since these rooms may pose a risk for people with reduced mobility, they should be visited with a companion.
• Pregnant women, people with cardiovascular disease, people with vertigo and people with certain medical devices are not suitable for participation in the experience areas.
• Visitors under the age of 11 are prohibited from participating in the experience in the Virtual Reality Room.
• Visitors are deemed to have accepted the risks of all experiences and should inform the museum staff of any possible risky situations.

Other Rules

• Photography and video shooting are allowed, but permission must be obtained for professional shootings.
• It is forbidden to bring food and drinks.
• Smoking, including electronic cigarettes, is strictly prohibited.
