I guess most people don't know the upper gate of Yıldız Park, this place both saves you from traffic and saves time.
While descending from Barbaros hill, signs direct you to Yıldız Palace. If you have a car, there is also a parking lot (Ispark).
This is almost the highest point of Yıldız Park, and the Bosphorus view is partially visible from here.
If you walk down with greenery and bird sounds, you can see the mansions and the garden.
Sometimes squirrels can greet you here. You can also find gözleme-style snacks while drinking your tea in the garden.
If you have food with you, there are tables here for you to have a picnic.
If you continue walking down, you will come to the other gate of Yıldız Park. There is also a mosque at the exit.
From here, you are in Ortaköy with a short walk. In my opinion, instead of going through the heavy traffic, Ortaköy becomes much more beautiful after a short walk accompanied by the chirping of birds and the smell of lush green trees. There is no parking problem or traffic congestion.
But if you say no, I love traffic, that's a different matter.
