Thanks to a special Grand Bazaar and Inns Tour organized by Fatih Municipality, it’s possible to go up to the roof of the historic bazaar with a guide.

👣 The tour takes about half an hour, during which you walk along the “cat path” and explore a large part of the rooftop.
🧱 During restoration, nearly 80,000 bricks were used, and this historic roof has stood for centuries.
🎬 Fun fact: some scenes of 007 James Bond were filmed here! Watching Istanbul from above while remembering these iconic moments is truly priceless.
🎟️ Normally, you cannot access the roof individually — only through special tours. But the municipality occasionally organizes free guided tours.
