One of Istanbul's most unique summer cultural events is back!
Organized by İBB Culture (Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Culture Department), the 6th Cinema on the Ferry Festival invites movie lovers to enjoy classic Turkish cinema aboard one of Istanbul's historic ferries.
From July 22 to July 26, 2026, the iconic Paşabahçe Ferry transforms into a floating open-air cinema, offering an unforgettable combination of film, sea, and spectacular views of Istanbul.
The festival takes place aboard the beautifully restored Paşabahçe Ferry, one of Istanbul's historic passenger ferries.
📍 Kabataş Ferry Terminal → Büyükada (Princes' Island)
Passengers can enjoy film screenings both during the ferry journey and while the ferry is docked at Büyükada.
Watching classic Turkish films surrounded by the Bosphorus and the Sea of Marmara creates a truly unforgettable summer evening.
